  • Learning Progress: We store your completed phrases, streak data, achievements, and learning statistics to track your progress.
  • Payment Information: If you subscribe to our premium service, payment processing is handled by Apple App Store. We do not directly collect or store your payment card details.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Device Information: Device type, operating system version, unique device identifiers.
  • Usage Data: Features used, time spent in app, phrases completed, learning patterns.
  • Analytics: App performance metrics, crash reports, and general usage statistics.

2.3 Information from Third Parties

  • Authentication Providers: If you sign in using Google or Apple, we receive your email and name from these providers.
  • App Store Platforms: Subscription status and purchase history.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide and improve the Phrazy AI service
  • Process your pronunciation recordings through our AI system
  • Track your learning progress and maintain streaks
  • Send you notifications about your learning (with your permission)

4. Voice Recording Processing

When you record your pronunciation:

  1. Your audio is sent to our secure servers
  2. Processed by OpenAI's Whisper API for transcription
  3. Compared against native pronunciation
  4. Results are returned to your device
  5. Audio recordings are immediately deleted after processing

We do not:

  • Store your voice recordings permanently
  • Use your recordings to train AI models
  • Share your recordings with third parties (except OpenAI for processing)

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We may share your information with:

Service Providers:

  • Firebase (Google) for authentication and database
  • OpenAI for pronunciation analysis
  • RevenueCat for payment processing
  • Analytics providers for app improvement

Legal Requirements:

We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, privacy, safety, or property.

Business Transfers:

If Phrazy AI is acquired or merges with another company, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

We never sell your personal information to third parties.
